Here we have a super guitar....Junior killer. I am starting this off at $99 dollars with no reserve. It is a 1964 Gibson SG Junior, serial number 1822XX. Super looking, sounding and playing guitar. This one absolutly kills. These '64 have always been my favorite, and original Polaris White finish! The guitar blacklights perfectly, except that the "Gibson" logo is a decal that has been expertly applied. This would indicate a repainting of the front of the headstock to me, but whoever did it was a genius. Great job. I don't see any breaks or repairs. I have taken several high resolution pictures which I will display below. The vibrola has been removed and a Badass bridge keeps the guitar intonated and sounding great. Doesn't look bad, either. The ferets are in nice shape and the guitar plays nice up and don the fretboard. The only other "issue" I see is the joint on the bass side of the heel. There is exposed mahogany at the heel, but I photographed the "issue" from the neck tenon under the guard. It doesn't appeak to be a crack; possibly just shrinkage. You guys can decide. The guitar stays in tune and there is no movement here. Pne of the best sounding and playing examples I've had in a while, but I have 5 of these in the store so I thought I'd have some fun with this on ebay. It comes with a newer Epiphone case.
