Although the edition number is not stated in the catalogue, there were said to be only 1000 ever printed. This volume in softcover wraps was published by the Jewish Museum in New York. It has 44 pages (unpaginated) with text in both Italian and English. It measures 8 1/2 x 11 inches. This catalogue was published to accompany two exhibitions: 1) The New American Art: Four Germinal Painters: Morris Louis, Kenneth Noland, Robert Rauschenberg, Jasper Johns; and 2) Four Younger Artists: John Chamberlain, Claes Oldenburg, Jim Dine, Frank Stella . It features 28 pages of text about the artists and their work (including terrific black and white photographic portraits of each) as well as 28 plates showing exhibited paintings, of which four are color and 24 black and white.
