This is a 1964 TOPPS STAND UP of Jerry Lumpe These cards were inserts in 1964 Topps One Cent and Five Cent packs. It's a Very Difficult to Complete Set as the Cards are Die-Cut so that by bending them in half, They would Stand Up. That could possibly be the reason they are called Stand Ups!!!!! Seriously though, It can be tough to find these cards in Top Condition. T are 77 Cards in the Set with Many Hall of Famers and 22 Cards that were Short Printed and Tfore, More Valuable. I will be breaking up my Complete set and listing them individually in the next week. This card of Jerry Lumpe is in EX condition. The bottom right corner shows some white. Jerry was a fine infielder for the Athletics whose best year was 1962 when he had 193 hits, 34 Doubles, 10 Triples, 10 Home Runs and a .301 batting average. He played on the 1958 World Champion New York Yankees. This is one of the Short or Single printed cards in this set. Would make a nice addition to your Stand Up Set or your Collection.
