Rare Vox Phantom made in England. Jennings only made these guitars in England during 1964 - 1965. After that, production was subcontracted to EKO in Italy. The serial number is 68888 stamped into the back of the headstock. This is all original with the exception of 4 pickguard screws which I replaced (and the strings, of course). It has the normal dings and checking that can be expected for a 45 year old instrument. All electronics work. as I am setting NO MINIMUM BID and NO RESERVE and NO BUY IT NOW. I'm from the old school that believes an auction should be priced by the public. Also, I will allow returns if you are not satisfied FOR ANY REASON - NO QUESTIONS ASKED. You just pay return shipping. The only stipulation is that you notify me within 3 days and email me that return shipping tracking number within 5 days. THE CASE IS INCLUDED. I will only ship to the Continental United States. I forgot to mention - Although I will accept returns with absolutely no questions asked and for any reason , PLEASE do not bid if you're not seriously interested. This happened to me before (someone won and later decided he just didn't really want to spend the money). Although I accepted the return with no problem, he knew this before he won and it was quite an inconvenience. I would have allowed him to retract his bid. IMPORTANT ADDITIONAL INFO : I purchased this guitar to add to my collection of vintage guitars. It was not one I played often, just hung on the wall. I just put a new set of strings on if for the sale and started playing it; and the 8th - 13th frets for the A & low E strings are in need of work. I don't know if it just needs to be set up, or if these frets would need to be replaced. It only affects these 2 strings. Other than this, I found no other problems. I have added another photo of some of my collection so you see I actually am a collector. I just want to make sure any potential bidder is aware of this. Based upon his comments, I can not guarantee the the headstock was not refinished.
