1965 MINI 998 NOW FIRSTLY I WOULD LIKE TO POINT OUT THIS MINI HAS BEEN RESHELLED AT SOMEPOINT INTO AN EIGHTIES SHELL (THOUGHT ID MENTION THAT BEFORE I GET BOMBARDED WITH EMAILS FROM PURISTS N ANORAKS LOL) TAX EXEMPT - (TAXED TILL THE END OF APRIL) but its free!!!! :) M.O.T until april 19th 2013 (no advisories last year) very cheap to insure (im 25 and its only £80 a year) very reluctant sale, only due to lack of use and house funds are needed, this lil mini has brought me sooo much joy over the years, it has travelled miles and miles- it has done 3 london to brighton runs, 3 mini in the parks @ santapod and has come 2nd place in class a under 1100cc in a row at british mini showdown @ avon park dragstrip and many other shows...... back in 2009 it was partly restored with complete front end consisting of front panel, wings, a panels, scuttle, door skins, rear valence and rear subframe last year it had- new recon radius arm, back shocks, rear brakes and minifin drums, headgasket, water pump, fanbelt, front pads, ht leads, plugs, rotor arm, dizzy cap, coil, oil and filter change engine is a 998cc with k+n filter, alloy intake manifold, maniflow l.c.b exhaust manifold, stainless link pipe and backbox (nice raspy sporty note) ive tried keeping with its ''mk1 looks'' with a cooper s stylee... with mk1 rear light conversion, mk1 read more
