You are viewing vintage correspondence from the Grace Downs Air Career School, postmarked 1965, and addressed to a Miss Linda Shoe, who apparently had aspirations of becoming an airline stewardessw / flight attendant. Several promotional brochures are included along with the acceptance letter. The most amusing of these lists the curriculum -- classes such as "Daintiness from Tub to Plane", "Charm Secrets", "Figure Analysis" and "Muscle Concentration". My, how times have changed!! T are several photos in these brochures that are fun to view, and very reflective of when being a flight attendant / stewardess was considered as glamorous as being a movie star!
