1966 ASTON MARTIN DB6 HARDTOP CAR STAMP SHEET A GREAT gift idea for the Car / Automobile Enthusiast (as well as Stamp Collector) and ideal for framing . A 22.5 x 32.7 cms Complete Sheet of 50 Stamps of the 1966 ASTON MARTIN DB6 CAR comprising 25 se-tenant pairs of two genuine 1984 MINT/UNUSED $3 stamps from Nevis in the West Indies. The first stamp illustrates the technical / plan drawings and the second stamp depicts a print of the car. The scans below show (i) a close up of the stamps and (ii) the complete sheet. The stamps are 26 years old but are in pristine unmounted mint condition. The sheet would make an ideal present for the Aston Martin enthusiast and is ideal for framing. Please Note: My Photographs are Not Brilliant! But please rest assured, the sheet is in perfect condition (rectangular / flat / no creases / no sun shadows and in focus!). Between 1983 and 1987 the Islands of the British Commonwealth collaboratively produced an omnibus issue of official postage stamps commemorating every important road and race car ever built (to mark the first 100 Years of the Automobile). An outstanding group of automotive experts was assembled to recommend cars for the collection.
