1966 SIGNED DOMINICK LABINO ART GLASS PAPERWEIGHT SCULPTURED AIR BUBBLE TRUMPET FLOWER RED, CINNAMON, GREEN, OPALESCENT APPROX MEASUREMENTS 2 1/2'H by 3"W weight 1lb 2.6oz signed Labino 1966 This is an exceptional piece of Labino glass. Came from Ohio and is one of two 1966 Labino art glass pieces purchased. Despite the glare of my camera, the colours are spectacular. Bursting with reds and deep crimson and greens to tawny amber and cinnamon. Has an opalescent glow. Exploding with colour. Truly a masterful piece of glass. The condition is excellent. Some wear to the bottom near the signature. T are no unwarranted marks or chips to this piece. Internally, t is a controlled air bubble surrounded by a sculptured trumpet flower form. Looks like a tornado of glass swirling inside. Stunning. Great fusion of hues, which is perhaps why I took so many pictures. Just think this is a brilliant piece of art glass. Complex, in a simple and minimalistic form. If you are a collector of early Labino, or paperweights, this would be an exemplary piece for display.
