Lt. Rozanov (Alan Arkin) is the pleasantly intimidating Russian officer, who leads a band of his sailors on an accidental "invasion" of an American island in the new comedy-drama, "The Russians Are Coming The Russians Are Coming." Norman Jewison's "The Russians Are Coming The Russians Are Coming" is a Mirisch Corporation presentation for United Artists release, starring Carl Reiner, Eva Marie Saint, Alan Arkin, Brian Keith, Jonathan Winters, Theodore Bikel and Paul Ford. Jewison produced and directed the comedy-drama, which deals with the events that follow the accidental marooning of a Russian submarine on a small American island off the New England coast.
