Up for auction is an adorable vintage hard vinyl, 8" Peanuts Snoopy Doll by United Feature Syndicate, Another Determined Production, made in Korea 1966. I purchased him at a garage sale. This Snoopy is made of a very rigid, hard vinyl with painted face done in relief, but has a cute plush tail and ears! He is wearing a non-removable black collar, and a 3 piece outfit that looks a bit like a tennis outfit to me, but could be a jogging outfit, just about anything I suppose! Snoopy is very clean,and his vinyl has remained very white over the years. T is just a trace amount of smudging on the underside of his feet. All his face paint is intact and without rubs. He has poseable limbs, and his thumbs are opposed so that it appears he could hold objects in his hands. I have cleaned him gently, so he is nice and clean. I also handwashed his outfit, which is a monogrammed cotton knit jacket with a working zipper, a matching pair of shorts with a drawstring waist (they have a cute little hole in the back to accomodate his tail!)., and a little sleeveless knit black and white striped undershirt. The outfit is in good condition, but the little white accent stripe of one sleeve of the jacket has come loose at one end...it just needs to be tacked down with stitching or fabric glue. Snoopy is marked and dated on the underside of his right foot.
