's the 1967 Krewe of Endymion "Babe Ruth" Pewter Doubloon (First Year of Issue)). The obverse has the original Endymion Crest, as shown in the feature photo. The reverse features the Bambino---Babe Ruth and reads "Take Me Out To The Ball Game... 1967 ," as shown in the second photo. The doubloon is in excellent condition . Note: 1967 was the first year that the Krewe of Endymion issued doubloons, however this doubloon is not listed in any of the Doubloon Guides. My research into the actual origin of this doubloon is unproven but suggests that these pewter doubloons were made for one of the Endymion krewe members but they were not issued during the 1967 parade season. Apparently years later, the doubloons were sold to a baseball memorabilia collector and seller and the doubloons were slowly dispersed to baseball collectors. Occasionally, one or more of these interesting doubloons would appear on eBay but rarely were they found at any of the doubloon swap meets in the New Orleans area. They do appear on rare occasions in local doubloon and coin shops, but they are rather hard to find. A must have for the serious Endymion collector.

I will securely package your items and personally deliver them to the post office, but I cannot be held responsible for any uninsured items which are lost in the mail through errors made by the USPS or any other shipping company. All items now shipped with delivery confirmation due to eBay and PayPal requirements.

Foreign buyers must agree to pay any additional postage and handling costs to ship items to their country and are also responsible for any customs fees or duties assess at the point of entry in their country.
