Volvo 131 Amazon GT 2dr Registered 4/3/1967 Chassis : 246175 Engine Type-52 : No: 21460 Original service book present. service history dating back to 1967 MOT history: 2013 : 53666 2012 : 53514 2011 : 53404 2010 : 53370 Car can be viewed at Wolverhampton Mazda, 133 Willenhall Road, WV1 2HR Runs, Drives, Beautiful motor, real eye catcher! Please be advised ; I am listing this for a friend and have received a lot of messages stating this is not a GT. I've come to learn; It's a 1967 Volvo 131 Amazon 2dr. It has an EB20 2 litre engine twin carb engine with overdrive which is running very well. There is no alternator but the place to put one on the engine is present. All major areas which are prone to rusting have been repaired or welded. I've been told the rubber seals from the door windows are missing and should be ordered from Volvo or an after market supplier before having in the rain or outside. The bumpers is in very good condition. It has an aftermarket stainless german exhaust which is common for this vehicle to have. The grill is from a couple of years later model, however 1 side of the original grill can be found in the boot. There is also various other spares in the boots. A hella horn has been fitted to pass its MOT which is 12 months from purchase. There is some rubber Volvo grommets missing from inside the bonnet.
