1968 NFL "GAMES-OF-THE-WEEK” Cardinals vs. Steelers and Cowboys vs. Redskins Back to back 1968 NFL "Games-Of-The-Week" are now together and in COLOR on one 51-minute DVD for nostalgic viewing! St. Louis hosts Pittsburgh at Busch Stadium in the first game, and a week later Dallas travels to D.C. Stadium in Washington , home of the Redskins. These games take place on November 10 and 17 (weeks 9 and 10 of the 1968 NFL season). Coach Charlie Winner's Cardinals come into their game with a 5-3 record, while the 2-6 Steelers, have now won their last two games. To cap the Steelers' first possession, Dick Hoak scores on a 30-yd TD pass from quarterback Dick Shiner. Near the end of the first quarter, Roy Jefferson fields a Cardinal punt and runs it back 80 yards to give the Steelers a 14-0 lead. Pittsburgh continues to shut out the Cardinals through the first half and when Earl Gros turns a pass over the middle into a 22-yd scoring play, the Steelers have a nice 21-0 lead at intermission. Cardinal quarterback Jim Hart opens the second half with a TD bomb to WR Dave Williams! After Pittsburgh misses a FG try, Hart again connects on another long bomb, this one to Bobby Joe Conrad, which ties the game at 21-21! Pittsburgh
