Vintage 1968 Fender hand-wired Bassman Amp head in excellent condition and great working order. Just serviced at local amp repair shop and confirmed everything works great. All the original potentiometers work properly without cracking sound. All the input jack and output jack all passed test, working properly. Tubes have fairly low hours and good to go for another couple of years at least. One of the pictures shows the serial number (A 44982) inside the amp and confirms that it is from 1968, the same year so many legendary guitar heroes made the history of rock and roll music in Woodstock (and many of them used this exact same model). Most of the Bassman head produced in that period were blackface; so it is pretty rare to see a silverfaced from that year. Fender rated this amp as 50watts, and the speaker output jack can drive 4ohm, 8ohm, and 16ohm with an additional slave output without any problem (it was designed so by Leo himself back in the 60s, when Fender still hand-wired their guitar amps with their hearts, unlike today's mass production models). The amp sounds amazing and is very versatile. The normal I input is great for more modern, aggressive guitar input, and the normal II is more vintage and sweet (both are amazing).
