1968 Gibson Hummingbird Vintage Guitar Up for auction is this beautiful 1968 Gibson Hummingbird acoustic guitar. This Guitar exemplifies everything the gibson hummingbird is so well known for and the reason this instrument has become so soughtafter.The natural wood produces a light sweet sound and natural reverb that holds and carries the note and is the reason artists the world over have chose to play this guitar time and time again. Every peice of this instrument is the original and in very good condition,the neck and frets are in excellent almost unplayed condition. the laquer does look a bit cracked but is not, and is very common for a guitar of this age. There are also a few very small dings on the front but as I said the guitar as whole is in very good condition, it has great tone and plays very well. Serial number 940648 stamped on the top/back of the head as well as on the gaurantee label inside the guitar, ensures from this is a 1968, manufactured in the U.S. at Gibsons Kalamazoo plant. Your winning bid will include the Guitar as well as a carrying case. The case is not the Gibson original but fits well and is in fair condition outside and good condition inside.
