1969 AURORA Banana Splits BANANA BUGGY Model Kit RARE Hold The Bus! Offering a vintage 1969 AURORA Banana Splits BANANA BUGGY Model Kit, near mint and unbuilt in the original box. It is complete, including the metal axel rods and Drooper’s glasses, the tails, lights etc. The parts are clean and free of any glue or paint. Some parts are still on the trees. The model comes with parts and decals to complete any one of the 4 character’s Banana Buggies. It also includes all 4 characters of Bingo, Fleegle, Drooper and Snorky. One goes in the Buggy, the other 3 sit on the included park bench. This is a very difficult model kit to find. It is approximately 1/24 scale and could be converted to a slot car. This one is a clean c8+ with beautiful box. Colors are vibrant and glossy. Box is straight. Has a minor amount of tape residue and minor wear. I spoke to the owner of Moebius Models and t are no plans to reissue this kit. Warner Brothers is kicking around the idea of a feature film in the future. The Banana Splits introduced young folks to Pop Music in the wacky 1960s and had a lasting effect on a generation with their zaniness and feel good boppin & soulful tunes.
