They are the rare and GORGEOUS, brown and green, Madeira china Earthenware from the Coveted, head turning, and Famous, "Gladding & McBean Franciscan Ware". Here is what is available in THIS listing: This listing is for 1 of the Very Desirable Franciscan Madiera Earthenware Large WATER MILK WINE Pitcher. This GORGEOUS full size Pitcher comes in a DEEP CHOCOLATE BROWN and has that FAMOUS Madeira GREEN glazing swirled just under the lip of the pitcher. VERY NICE! This Pitcher can be used for SO MANY THINGS! Swirl a Batch of Margherritas for you and your friends over a great Mexican meal... Stir up some Sangria over an Italian meal. Or serve up an ice cold pitcher of milk at Breakfast time with those pancakes and Bacon!!! Sounds great, doesn't it? Thsi large Pitcher measures 8" tall x 6" wide, and 8" wide if you include the handle. This is quite a large size for a pitcher, yet it does not feel huge, nor does its design size take over your lovely Madeira Table setting. And that's because of the GREAT DESIGNER AGAIN!!! This Pitcher was designed so well, that it can hold a large amount of liquid in its wide frame! But it won't feel as heavy as other pitchers because of the wonderfully, well thought out design placement of the handle. I just don't think I can find a thing wrong about this set what so ever! The bowls are all round in shape and can be used as soup bowls, fruit bowls, desert bowls, cereal bowls... the possibilities are endless! All bowls are in EXCELLENT CONDITION with NO cracks, No breaks, NO scratching, No fading anywhere. As far as TODAY'S COLOR DESIGNS.... Interestingly enough... this BROWN & GREEN color scheme is the latest and the greatest in any designer home or office . Go figure, huh? This Madeira pattern is SO TIMELESS!! I am amazed at the way these dishes flow right into today's decor!! With retro back, and green and brown being such a top color combination of today, this set couldn't fit in ANY BETTER!
