Title: Walt Disney's Legends of America Background: We recently acquired at auction a large group of early Disney Golden Books, as well as Whitman Magic Slates and paper dolls that came from Western Publishing's archives in Racine, Wisconsin! For decades, Western's Whitman or Watkins-Strathmore lines produced coloring and sticker book items, paper doll sets and related merchandise until the company was later absorbed by Random House and reconfigured as the Golden Book line. We're selling actual archive copies that were in the manufacturer's library. These are fantastic, unused items, like unearthing a time capsule to find these superbly preserved collectibles!
