This lot is an Official Appalachian League Wilson baseball in the original box that is signed by 23 members of the 1969 Wytheville Senators. It is in the original Wilson box and has the paper. It also has a stack of cutouts from the local newspaper with pictures on the Senators players from the same year. Some of them signed the ball and some didn't. The signatures have bleed and are fuzzy otherwise it is a nice offwhite ball. I have been able to identify 21 of the 23 signatures on the ball from an original team roster I found online. The box shows heavy wear and has the name of the manager and asst. manager on the side but these are not autographs but from the owner of the ball. A great piece of local history as the Senators were only in Wytheville for one year 1969. Part of a group I am listing that is fresh to the market.
