I have finally decided to sell my much loved early bay window camper. It really with deep regret I have to do this but I am losing my storage area and this is sadly one of the casualties.It is in really good condition having been a California import and been in the UK since 2008. It is a beautiful Lotus white all over with Tartan wrap but was originally Neptune blue. I bought the van with the wrap already fitted as everyone loved it and was convinced to keep it like that.It has been used sparingly and has recently benefited from an engine refresh by Laurie Pettit the renowned VW air cooled guru. Inside it is fitted with a rock'n'roll bed, table, power points, remote control CD/Stereo with speakers fitted in the rear bed base and little limo style night sky lights built into the head lining. It also comes with a set of black out thermo screens.It also benefits from a top tint front blue screen which really adds to the look and the original padded dash. Being an original deluxe model it has the padding on the walk through bulkheads.The wheels are my favourite of all the wide 5 options and called Rader, they aren't perfect but look great. The tyres are low profile and look great with the narrow front beam.Mot is valid till next July (2015) and being a 1970 model it is tax exempt!I have used this to ferry people to proms, weddings and read more
