1970s Breitling Navitimer 5atm Case Outer Rotating Bezel. Restoration Project For advanced Wristwatch Restorers and Builders. This is an Outer Rotating Bezel for the Breitling Navitimer Manual-Wind or Chrono-matic in the large 5atm waterproof Case. The Bezel works the Scale that sits inside under the waterproof crystal via a Pinion Gear. On the back of this Bezel is a Geared "Rack". This Bezel will be suitable for Chrono-matic models 1806, 1808. 1809, 7651, 7661, 2115 and 2105. It will also be suitable for Manual-Wind versions such as 0816, 0819, 0818, 7652 and 0812. This Bezel is mechanically sound, but has been restored with gloss black paint 20 or so years ago. It now needs a second and better restoration. This rare item is not expensive as I have taken into account the fact that it has to be restored. These are original Swiss made vintage spare parts for pre 1979 Breitling Chronograph Wristwatches. Suitable for the vintage Breitling Chronograph Collector, Repairer, Restorer and Builder. These parts are guaranteed to be genuine Swiss originals.They were purchased by me, in the 1980s, from suppliers involved with the liquidation of stock from the original pre 1979 Willy Breitling Company.Please study the suggested applications before purchase.
