THIS IS A ( 5)FIVE-DAY( 5), NO RESERVE , AND INTERNATIONAL COLLECTIBLE BRIAR PIPE AUCTION. PLEASE ALL OF THE OTHER BEAUTIFUL, NEW, OR FULLY RESTORED AND RECONDITIONED HIGH GRADE COLLECTIBLE PIPES THAT I HAVE LISTED FOR AUCTION THIS WEEK ON EBAY! You are bidding on an UNSMOKED condition tan sandblasted finish Castello "Old Antiquari" series, "Apple" shaped pipe, that was hand crafted in Italy in the late 1970's. This is an older "Carlo Scotti" stamped pipe that is also stamped as a "3K" size grade, and as a "23" shape. Take note of the older larger "K" font stampings. This pipe has been sitting in storage for all of its life, in essence, "air drying" for an additional 35 to 40 years, since it was crafted. This classic vintage NOS (New Old Stock) Castello pipe promises to perform like a dream!!! This classic Castello design shaped pipe is a beauty! The flowing lines of the cut of the bowl are textbook Castello! The overall balance is perfect. The hand feel is extremely comfortable. The draft is fairly easy, but not as effortless as contemporary Castello pipes. A pipe cleaner will pass to the bottom of the bowl.
