1970's Cortez Acoustic dreadnought Guitar Fabulous! offered is a vintage I believe 1970's Cortez J-660 dreadnought style guitar. This guitar is as nice as you'll find out t in an acoustic guitar that is 40 years old or so. I believe it is from the early 70's as the song books and instructions book on how to play guitar that was in the case is also from the early 1970's. We are relisting this guitar and starting the opening bid w everyone can get in if they wish. Please note this is a 3 day auction and t is NO RESERVE. The original owner could not and did not play this guitar more than a few times as the condition is as close to mint as you'll ever find. The back is stunning with a nice inlay running the full length. Cortez guitars were first made in the 1960's and were strickly made in Japan. This line of guitars was imported from Japan beginning in the 1960's by Jack Westheimer along with other known brands of the time. Wikipedia has a great story about this man and the Cortez line , we've included this in part in the last of our description.
