This is an unusual configuration of the mix and match Junior Girl Scout Uniform pieces from 1973 to 1985 because of the turtleneck. Remember the “BODY SUIT” from the 70s? It snaps at the crotch and is very close fitting all over. This is an official part of the Junior uniform and comes BRAND NEW in the original package. It can be worn under the jumper or alone with the pants. This JUMPER is in Excellent Used Condition. The Jumper is a Size 6, and the original hem has been let out. Included is a dark green BERET with the Old Logo Trefoil patch. Moths have been at it, but none of the areas created holes all the way through. I've had this in the freezer for several months, so I won't be passing on any active moths. Also included is a PAIR OF OFFICIAL KNEE SOCKS . There are no holes, and these have held up well except for some fraying around the top edge. The fabric on all these items is sturdy and the outfit could be worn or used for display. Also included is an official pair of LONG PANTS . These need mending at the crotch seam - simply done with a sewing machine. There is a small spot at the seat that looks like a speck from the carpet. The official label says this is a size 7. The best part is the BADGE SASH which has 16 badges, 7 Insignia and patches. All of the badges have been very neatly sewn on by hand with nice stitches that bare show on the front. They are all in Outstanding Condition and look like new. There is one TROOP'S OWN BADGE that has "PF" on it. Maybe YOU know what that represents. If you would like to see more Girl Scout items like this, This will take you to my eBay store where you will find hundreds of badges, patches, clothing and Girl Scout giftware such as Hankies, Jewelry and more. Be sure to add me to your favorites list ! More Information: 1973 marked a complete change in the way Girl Scout uniforms were presented and made available. It was the FIRST MIX AND MATCH group of uniform pieces. Any combination of the following was part of the OFFICIAL UNIFORM for Juniors: Jumper Long Pants Short Pants Blouse Turtleneck bodysuit Those pieces along with Socks, Beret, Sweater, Belt, Badge Sash, Tights, and/or Flashes were acceptable wear for the Junior Girl Scout until 1985. In most cases, you will see the Old Trefoil Logo on the tags and separate pieces. However, in 1980, the 3-Face Logo was presented so you may see pieces with that logo also. Junior Girl Scouts born in the late 1960s and early 1970s would probably have worn some combination of these pieces.SHIPPING : Please email me with any questions. I'll be glad to answer.
