A very nice 1970's non-fading mah jongg set with the lovely perching pheasant bird bam. There are 152 tiles, as you can see from the photos, all suit s are complete. The re are two runs of flowers and 4 extras were used to sticker the jokers with lovely geisha stickers. Four natural jokers originated with the set. A white bettor is also included with the set. There are no chips or cracks in the tiles, and no fading that I noticed. I have played with this set and it appears as if the set was little used. The paint is in excellent shape, and it is unusual to find a set like this with the perching pheasant bird bam. Tile size is 1 1/4 " x 7/8" x 1/2". These tiles are a bit chunkier and substantial than most. Four catalan racks are included: red, yellow, taupe, and green . A pair of red dice are included as are some of the colorful coins on the flippies. There are no cracks or chips in the racks and the flippies work well. The red faux leather case is in good condition, with the usual corner wear. There is no musty or smoky smell. Please study the photos and ask questions before bidding.
