1970s Platinum short Pen - NEW!!!In the late 1960s/the Japanese pen makers began marketing novel pens which when capped were short and posted, were the same size as regular pens. Platinum was one of the leaders in this effort that took Japan by storm. they were hugely successful! To me what has always been neat about Platinum pens is the attention to detail and the clips. This clip is not just a plain piece of metal and is decorated. It also recesses into the top of the cap, and still springs! The barrel and section are a real red just like that in the pictures. Cap is a 'Lustraloy-type' metal finish. Pen has the almost fify-tear old price sticker of Y2000. The nib is a 18K Yellow Gold FINE that is closer to a Western Very Fine. It is smooth with slight flex tomake your writing expressive as you desire.. With Your Shipment: You will also receive two appropriate cartridges so you can start using your pen write away. Payment: We prefer Paypal, and also accept Money Orders and Personal Cheques. Shipping: T are no high-priced international shipping costs. Located in Southern California, we ship your pen anyw in the world for just $2.50. That's right. The same low price anyw Should you have any questions about this pen or just desire to discuss Japanese pens, please do not hesitate to write. We sincerely thank you for visiting.
