1970's Ge m Uncirculated A rt Bar! .999 Fine Pure Silver Original Art Bar! This a .999 Pure Silver Bar is Amazing and Original – Very Popular Fast Ford Collector Car series ! this Bar features - the 1965 Classic Lotus-Ford Race Car! This Silver Bar has problem free surfaces : The Original " ART BARS " (1969 - 1979) have a interesting history (Read Below) See the pictures I provided for reference – This Silver Bar displays Totally White features & Surfaces nice Gem condition! The "Art Bars" minted from 1969 to 1979 were really hot and heavy among collectors when I was a young man. The 1970 Franklin Mint Christmas Bar and the 1971 "The General" train engine (Error Bar) were trading from $500 to $1100 in those days - Most of these Art Bars traded from $3 to $5 each depending on what Spot silver was at the time! This is when many mints popped up over night and made many really cool designs. Many with limited editions. The designs can run a huge gambit from endangered animals, Cars, Presidents, events and even movie stars, Generals and more! Most of these collectable designs were melted since 1980 when silver hit $50 per ounce all this happened over the years – do to misuse by collectors – most are spotted or toned very deeply or severly scratched – Nicer Gem examples are scarce to come by anymore!
