1970’s Leather Fashions - Gunal Erkose of Istanbul. An interesting pair of albums of black & white photographs of chiefly ladies (and some male) leather fashions - coats, dresses, trouser suits and jackets. Both of the albums with the imprint of Gunal Erkose on the red card covers. One album contains 27 photographs, the other 23 photographs - the second album would seem to be duplicates of the photographs in the first album. The first album shows prices beneath each photograph (eg “Fob Istanbul 34$” ) so they may well be trade sample books. All photographs are approx. 118x180mm. and are partially affixed to the black backing paper. All photographs show models wearing the garment. Approx. 200x258mm., some light cover creasing and slight soiling, internally in good condition.
