Up for sale is a good condition, working Four Million BC pinball game. I've had this machine in my house since 1983, but feel now is the time to bid it a fond farewell. It has a lot of Ted Zale's typical design elements of the era that other games of his like 'Fireball' and 'Nip-It' have, like zipper flippers, having multiple balls in play at once, asymmetrical playfield, and interesting gate designs. This game is ready to play, all features work, and is a blast to play - even those used to the more modern solid-state games will like playing this one ! Cosmetically, it's in quite good condition for its age, with the expected cabinet scratches and dings. Playfield has minimal wear - a small spot near 'The Volcano', two small areas near the pop bumpers, and a very small spot in the upper left at the base of the ramp. I have not attempted any touch-up - the playfield is exactly as shown in the photos. The paint on the backglass is perfectly sound with no lifting or peeling, but t is some damage in the lower right corner - the glass is cracked t, and the previous owner placed clear tape on the backside to stabilize things. The tape could be removed using mineral spirits without damaging the paintwork. I've tried to show this clearly in the photos. Back door and all locks are present and functional. Included is a very complete set of paperwork, including the original envelope, schematic, theory of operation, warranty slip, and lots of the cards that fit in the lower arch tray. Although I have this listed as 'pickup only', I could deliver it within a radius of 75 miles of Poultney , VT (near Rutland ) for an additional $50. Prefer payment to be made by PayPal, but will accept money order or cashier's check before delivery or pickup.
