I will tell you if something can't be combined due to how it is shipped, or the possiblity of breaking. Up for auction is a 1971 Nebraska Cornhuskers @ Oklahoma Sooners College football game day program. This game is now referred to as THE GAME OF THE CENTURY. It featured the #1 team in the Nation vs. the #2 team in the Nation. The Huskers prevailed in the game by a score of 35-31. This game featured the famous punt return by Johnny Rodgers, which later sealed his Heisman Trophy in 1972. These two teams went on to finish the season as #1 and #2. The Huskers were of course number 1 and finished as National Champions in 1971. It was their second straight National Championship under Head Coach Bob Devaney. They defeated the #2, #3, and #4 teams in the nation in the final rankings. They beat Oklahoma, Colorado, and Alabama. This team was widely considered one of College Football's all time greatest teams. The Sooners would have won the National Championship if they had won this game. This is a program that is a must for every collection. If you like programs, it is a highlight to any collection. Even if you don't collect programs, this is still a great addition to any collection. It is in overall very good condition. All of the pages, including the center roster page, are present and intact to the staples. T are not any tears, rips, or stains. T is some light handling wear from being looked through over the years. Someone did write the score nicely on the front, but this was a common thing to do during this era. A lot of these programs have the score written on them or in them. The inside is very clean and crisp. It really is a very nice copy of this rare program. This program does not come around very often, because nobody wants to let them go. Don't miss out on this awsome piece of memorabilia. Payment will be due within 5 business days of the auctions end.
