You are bidding on a lovely sterling silver ornament made by Towle Silversmiths..This is the very first ornament in the series that was madeMaking it quire rareIt is in excellent condition It was made in 1971 for a special 12 Days of Christmas Series and it is the first in the series.. On one side t is a Peace Dove.On the other side t is a Partridge in a Pear Tree . The bird designs are raised and give a wonderful three dimensional effect. This vintage ornament is expertly crafted and beautifully bevelled on the edges to give the look of delicate scallops.
