Here, ladies and gents, is my pride and joy, my 1971 Triumph Herald 13/60.I bought this classic car four years ago and in that time, I've cherished it and brought it back to its former glory. Not to say the one owner before me didn't take care of it, but in the time I've owned it, I've had it completely re-sprayed in the original teal blue and added the old English flash, new white bumpers, new chrome hub caps, and over riders. I've also had four brand new tyres fitted as well as an alternator because, if I'm honest, dynamos are at best rubbish. I've also had a stereo fitted into the glove box, but I've never had an aerial fitted only the windscreen stick on. In the 43 years the car has been going, it has only ever done 61,500 and 10,000 of that was in the 4 years I've owned it. Now to the down sides: As you can see in the pictures, there is a tiny chip in the paint by the passenger door, the shag pile around the gear stick has split at the seam, some of the laminate round the glove box has chipped and due to sunlight the back rest on the back seat has split. I've checked on eBay and a new back rest will cost around £30 to £60. Also, there is a scuff on the front passenger side wheel arch. It would mop up very easily, but due to selling the car I haven't done it. The scuff is currently not pictured, but I can provide photos if needed. read more
