1971 E-Type XKE V12 S111 Auto TAX EXEMPT Last of the E-Types Best driving model of the lot..!!! Very rare and unique beautiful colour Never welded (to my knowledge) Wonderful driving car with many ££££`s spent.. Rebuilt cylinderhead with unleaded valves Overhauled carburettors and ignition system Engine manifolds replaced as required Stainless Steel exhaust system installed Automatic gearbox overhauled New recondition radiator Original air-condition unit (needs re-gassing) This little beauty was imported from sunnyCalifornia (hence the lack of welding) and lovingly overhauled a good few years ago. W hat few items that were not restored had deliberately been left to add a glorious patina that could only be achieved by the ageing process. This process adds unmatchable character to the car and by no means detracts from the overall beauty. She has now been in storage for a while but still starts and drives very well, but due to this time in storage she has developed one or two fluid leaks that will obviously need attending to before a long drive or regular use is considered. There may be other small items that need attending to but nothing drastic from memory, just general servicing/tinkering/tlc.
