From an estate sale comes this 1972 Aurora AFX "Pit Row Special" slot car set in the original box. It also has some accessories from a 1974 AFX set, so you get some bonuses. The box is structurally intact but has some old damp damage (no mold, just peeling). Inside: 1972 and 1974 color AFX brochures for cars and accessories (most marked with check marks or "want this" by the original owner!); 1972 Driver's Manual and Set Assembly Instructions, 1974 Drivers Manual, instruction sheet/layout diagram; 1972 paper pennant sheet (unused); strip of Goodyear/Gulf/Valvoline advertising; sheet of stickers for two 1974 Aurora grandstands with sound, along with the two grandstands (only one pylon for speaker/light assembly) I have not been able to wire up the grandstands to see if they work, but they are clean and look perfect; the cardboard pit building (never assembled); decal sheet for cars (four decals used); two power packs that work (1972 and 1974); four controllers; orange pilings and track supports; 24 lengths of guardrail; the plastic carrying case for your cars and tools; 18 of the 9-inch curves; 2 of the 12-inch radius curves; 2 of the 15-inch radius curves; 3 of the 9-inch radius curves; 6 of the 15-inch straight tracks; the 9-inch cobblestone track (with rough road sign); lap counter track; 9-inch squeeze track; two 9-inch criss-cross read more
