Item Description:
Original 1972 General Motors Factory Dupont Exterior "Color Standard" Paint Plate. Sample is painted on a 4"x6" piece of aluminum with its own pocket sleeve. This one is GM color code #28 and named "Dark Blue Metallic". Used on the following makes: Chevrolet Monte Carlo, Chevelle, Malibu, Camaro, Station Wagons, Nova and Vega. These were possibly used on the production line after the painting process as a quality control check to make sure the finished product matched the "color standard" plate. Rare unusual item. Very good condition.
