A signed 10K gold high school ring marked for 1972 North East High School in North East, Md. The ring is set with a blue stone centered by a school crest. The ring shows a detailed likeness of a sailboat on one side and two men paddling in a canoe on the other. The nautical theme comes from North East's close proximity to the Chesapeake Bay. The band is stamped 10K,Balfour(maker) and is also engraved JLM for the original owner. The ring is a size 6 1/2 and weighs 7.3 grams. The condition is excellent with no apparent damage and minimal wear. Nice collectible.
