This map was designed by Massimo Vignelli in 1970's minimalist style. This map is so highly desired because there is one on display at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. The cover is white with various letter & number routes in color circles. 21 inches by 17.5 inches when open. Closes to 7 inches by 3.75 inches. One side has a route map of the subway system & the other side has route by route station guide. Mint condition. Remember tie-dyed shirts, the Doors, and R-9's ruling the subway!! This is MINT, not near mint (Map has NEVER been opened)! Why bother with a reproduction for $300 when you can buy the original map! A great piece of NY Subway history you can own!
