This is a Tonka No. 3915 twin boom all metal AAA wrecker, this particular one being made only in 1972. In that year it featured a new steel bumper with rubber pads. The very next year Tonka went to a stamped plastic bumper, without the rubber pads. If you collect one-offs, this is one (no pun intended). It has a most attractive overall appearance, in orange and white. The decals are intact, as are the windshield and safety light on the top. Both booms will swing out about 30 degrees. I see one small ding on the right side, and there is a smattering of light rust on the underside of the chassis. One cast metal hook is present on one of the booms. Both hoist lines are intact. Tonka made a wire hook that swung down over the rear edge of the boom platform. That is among the missing.
