Greetings, This item is a complete set, with the high value 'Family Planning' issue, of the 1972 Official USPS Souvenir Pages issue; at total of 18 Souvenir Page. Also included will be a few of the 1973 issues. The 1972 year issue is the high value year of the Souvenir Pages issues. Due to a 'SANFU' with the postal services new computers (imagine what a '72 computer looked like) some people got their issues, while others did not. To add to the confusion, only a very limited number of the 'Family Planning', 'Yellowstone Park', 'Hatteras', and 'City of Refuge' pages were issued to the subscribers of this set. This lot contains all of the high values, and the rest of the 1972 year issued Pages. Scott lists this set very high. I am listing this hard to find set at a low starting price and no reserve. I hope you take this opportunity to add this modern limited release set to your fine collection. The additional 1973 Pages are: 'The Pamphleteer', 'George Gershwin', 'Posting a Broadside', 'Copernicus', 'Postal People', and the 'Harry Truman Memorial'. The last two pictures are of the form letter sent to the subscribers by the postal service detailing what went wrong, and how they hoped to fix the issue in the future. Yes, I was the subscriber in 1972 and will include all of this documentation in the item lot as a 'proof', or provenance, of authenticity of the '72 set. Thanks for viewing.
