Roosevelt dimes are one of the most popular coins to collect. An easy and fun way to fill in sets of circulated grade. High grade uncirculated coins are extremely rare and difficult to find. AN EXAMPLE: the 1946 to 1964 Roosevelt dime silver series collection. In this series of 48 coins t is an average of 29 coins graded to an ms67fb of each coin required in a PCGS holder. A total of 1399 ms67fb and a total of 32 ms68fb are in existence. In MS66FB the average of the same 48 required coins is 182 in a PCGS Holder. Understanding the lingo MS means: The term corresponding to the numerical grades MS-60 through MS-70, used to denote a business strike coin that never has been in circulation.
