1973 International Athletics Annual (ATFS Annual), edited by Vladimir Visik, compiled by the ATFS, Verlag & Wernitz KG, Berlin,1973, soft covers, 192 pages. Good condition, COMPLETE, discoloration or browning around the margins, corners bumping, corner creases, small tear front cover (about 0.3 inch) at the top, cover wear and creases top right of front cover, decent shape overall. This is the seldom offered OFFICIAL ATFS annual, not the more known Sportsworld edition with the Mary Peters cover. If one who attempts the worthy task of trying to complete the ATFS set one of the last editions needed will be the German edition of 1973 (this one offered) and/or the 1974 official German edition. Would regard this 1973 as ULTRA RARE in any condition. The most desired and collected annual in the World of Track and Field athletics. Much of the contents simply not found elsewhere. First issued in 1951, this 23rd edition contains coverage for 1972, World Men top 100 performers, Europe Men top 50 performers, World Men top 30 performances, Europe top 30 performances, World all time list, World marathon and walks lists, National records of many nations, national championship results of many nations, 1972 international games summaries, World Women all time list, 1972 World Women list of top 50 performers and approximate 20 performances.
