1973 GOTTLIEB HIGH HAND Up for auction is a 1973 Gottlieb High Hand EM "Wedgehead". Designed by Ed Krynski ; Art by Gordon Morrison ; Production - 4,950 units ; 2 flippers, 1 pop-bumper, 4-bank targets (4), 1 kick-out hole. Another great EM "Wedgehead" from D. Gottlieb & Co.. This game has a cards/gambling theme which is very popular. If you love to shoot at drop targets this game has 16 of them to take out. One of the more colorfull wedgeheads with lots of red and yellow and neat playing cards. Every target you knock down lites a card and scores points when you collect your bonus. If you knock down all 16 cards, you have 2 down-lanes with a special lit to win a free replay that alternates with the upper-center kick-out hole special. That's when it gets fun! You can really rack up points quick! This game was in a bowling alley in a small town and the owner gave it to his son. He played it for several years and then stored it. It was always in a climate-controlled dry area. It wasn't being played much, so he decided to sell it. Description: Mechanically, this game seems to be playing 100%. Someday you may want to install a flipper rebuild kit but I would play with these for a few more years - they have enough power to knock down all the lower and upper targets with no problem. I think the flipper fiber board links are wore just read more
