From the classic 1973 Topps set, this is a nice starter team set of 26 different New York Yankees (only 9 shown in the scan). The only card missing to complete this set Ron Swoboda. This group includes captain THURMAN MUNSON, the Yankees Team Card (tough HIGH number), manager Ralph Houk/coaches (including Elston Howard), Sparky Lyle, Bobby Murcer, Graig Nettles, Ron Blomberg, Hal Lanier, Mel Stottlemyre, Casey Cox, Gerry Moses, Lindy McDaniel, Roy White, Matty Alou, Celerino Sanchez, Fritz Peterson, Horace Clarke, Steve Kline (vg), Gene Michael, Mike Kekich, Bernie Allen, Felipe Alou, John Callison (vg), Fred Beene, and Alan Closter. SIX of these cards are from the very tough HIGH number series. Normally, cards that feature players from numerous different teams cannot be included in any one team set. However, in this group I have included the ROOKIE card of George "Doc" Medich, who shares his card with Steve Busby of the Royals and Dick Colpaert of the Indians....a great added bonus! This group grades at least EX in my opinion with the expected light general wear for the grade as per Beckett grading standards, with a some nicer as well, and only a few grading less at VG. T is no intentional damage such as pinholes, ink, etc. The backs are all clean with no gum or wax marks. VERY NICE overall eye appeal! International bids welcome.
