Both the plate and topper are in "Very Good" condition, with all original paint which is still vibrant, and even a little glossy after more than 40 years. The 92nd Congress met from 1971 to 1973, during the first term of President Richard Nixon. The House of Representatives and the US Senate each had a Democratic Party majority during the 92nd Congress.I wish I knew who these items belonged to, but unfortunately I do not. The license plate features a sticker that was valid from March 31, 1972 through March 31, 1973, however, the 92nd Congress ended on January 3, 1973. So, it is possible that whoever owned these plates lost his or her job in the 1972 election, being that the topper was not replaced with one from the 93rd Congress. The '73 sticker happens to be a "natural", meaning that no other stickers from any other years have ever been on the plate. The bolts holding the topper in place look tarnished, but they have not rusted, so the two items can be easily separated if desired.Low $4.99 Priority Mail shipping in the US.
