1974 LIMITED EDITION NORMAN ROCKWELL "DOCTOR AND THE DOLL" Figurine #NR-100 · LIMITED EDITION - This figurine is Number 104 out of 2000 · measures approx. 9¾" tall x 7" across x 7" deep · Figurine is in MINT Condition - NO Chips, NO Cracks, NO Crazing, NO Repairs Up for auction is a delightful Norman Rockwell figurine featuring the Cover Illustration of the 3/9/1929 issue of Saturday Evening Post. The figurine is porcelain with a matte finish. The figurine features a Doctor giving a medical checkup to a Doll. The young girl is holding her dolly up to the Doctor to make sure everything is ok. This figurine does NOT come with the original cardboard box sleeve and its original Styrofoam packaging (the Styrofoam is in perfect condition, the cardboard sleeve is in poor condition with rips, tape marks and creases). The bottom is indented " March 9, 1929 © 1973" and "NR-100" and is imprinted "The Saturday Evening Post Co. Dave Grossman Designs, Inc. '74" Ltd. Edition 104/2000". Written in red ink on the bottom are numbers (see photo). The front of the base has a paper label imprinted "Doctor And The Doll". This figurine also comes with 2 original paper tags.
