MARTIN000-28 (1974)# 358194 Great condition but in need of a little TLC. JHStransducer has been installed somewhere over the years. The adhesive has lost it’s stick to the transducer and therefore is loose inside the guitar i.e. the pickup is attached to the endpin but not attached to the guitar. Just needs to be re-glued to the wood. The neck is relatively straight. It is not in desperate need of a reset but may be worth resetting down the line if it is to be consistently strung with 12 or 13 gauge strings. Currently strung with gauge 10 strings. Saddle has been sanded down a fair bit but the action is very low and would not hesitate to restring with 11’s or 12’s, subject to a setup. The glue on the left side of the bridge has come loose no more than 2 inches from the edge of the bridge to the center. Bridge may need to be re-glued if strung with heavier strings. Pick guard has slightly warped and as a result has lifted from the end closest to the bridge to about half the length of the guard itself – a bit of lacquer checking has occurred around the rim of the pick guard. Slight nick about half way down the neck (shown in photo). Includes original 70’s Martin 000 case with dark blue interior. Strap button has been attached to the side of the heel. A few light scratches as to be expected with a 40 year old guitar but plays beautifully read more
