This is a "ONE TROY OUNCE .999 % PURE SILVER ROUND". Dated 1975, the round was minted by the "ALASKA CERTIFIED MINT" in "COMMEMORATION OF THE TRANS-ALASKAN PIPELINE" for "FIRST SECTION OF PIPE LAID".Its condition is excellant. (my scanned picture does not do justice to this beautiful silver round). On the rim is marked "The front shows an engraving of the "TONSINA RIVER' and the Pipeline running along side.This is a great historic Pure Silver round. With the price of silver on the rise, it is also a good investment.
