Rare 1975 Fender Starcaster w/OHSC ! Stunning Flamed-Maple Semi-Hollowbody! FREE WORLDWIDE SHIPPING !!! This is a USA-made 1975 Fender Starcaster electric guitar, Fender's answer to Gibson's popular ES-335. Designed by Gene Fields, it is a rare asymmetrical (offset) double cutaway semi-hollowbody, and has an arched top and arched back. The maple top and back are highly flamed and multi-bound, and the sides, neck and 22-fret fingerboard are maple, as well. The peghead has a painted beveled treble-side edge, mocha brown on this guitar, a feature not seen before or since on Fender guitars. Traditional features include bolt-on neck, 6-per-side Fender tuning machines, chrome hardware, and fixed bridge. A raised black pickguard, 5 control knobs (master, 2 volume/2 tone), 3-way switch on upper treble bout, two f-holes, and dual logo-embossed humbucking pickups complete the look. This guitar sounds nothing like a Stratocaster, Telecaster, Jaguar, Mustang, et al. It is truly unique among Fenders. Overall this '75 Fender is in terrific condition, and besides some minor hardware appears to be completely original. The serial number, 674765, is stamped on back of the 3-bolt neck plate. The neck end is ink-stamped 0999-4555 and also has a decal with several Fender inspectors listed. The guitar recently came back from a skilled luthier for read more
