1975 Gorham Sterling Ornament with Box ~ Christmas Angel ~ This Gorham Sterling silver Christmas ornament, titled "Christmas Angel," is from the 1975 Limited Edition collection, designed by artist Luther Bookout. The reverse side of the is ornament signed & numbered (1620/9800). Made of sterling silver, this ornament measures 4.25" height x 2.75" width. The original box is included. This piece is in excellent vintage condition. The silver has been polished at least once over the years, but does have a few areas of tarnish (see example, below, in photo of hallmark), which I'm leaving to the new owner to touch-up or not. At first gaze, this ornament looks nearly mint. Scrutinzing it, I found one tiny, tiny ping (about as small as a grain of sand) on the angel's wing, which may or may not be original to manufacture. This ornament displays beautifully, as is visible in the photo.
