You are biding on one 1976 Case Bicentennial Pocket Knife Number 5165 SSP Case XX Stainless USA Comes with Cerification and cherry wood and plexi-glass display case- case has some small scratches in the wood Genuine Stag handle and hand engraved nickel silver bolsters Knife is in great shape. T are no chips or cracks or scratches in the handleNever carried or sharpened.Blade is etched with "The American Spirit" and is numbered 8791 It was issued in a limited edition of 10,000- sequentially numberedThis comes from my father's hardware store collection. He worked in hisfamily hardware store for over 40 years. He was a good man a hero inall senses of the word. He worked hard to make his community and his country a better place. He employed people who needed a second chance- or just a chance period. He made sure that those in need received help even if it meant that he had to give of his time and money. His life ended when he was fatally shot in that hardware store. An armed man entered the store demanding money from my grandmother (a woman in her 80's) and she screamed.
